We Are Fortunate

Premier Business Equipment has been fortunate with a healthy business. In turn we can benefit our communities in many different ways by giving back to support those with needs or to lift the spirits of men and women dedicating their lives to service.

Others helped me, John Espinoza, during key moments of my life and their encouragement and support were the foundation for my business accomplishments. Being an entrepreneur gives me the ability to help others.

For over 20 years, I’ve been an active member of Sunrise Rotary, Covina and I am a 2-time past president. Premier Business Equipment has been active in supporting a variety of worthy projects like a recent drive to brighten the spirits of military personnel during Christmas 2023.

My business and other Rotarians procured, packaged, and sent 312 Christmas stockings for troops complete with a beanie to top it off.

Other Community Events

Other community drives have included:

  • Scholarships for high school students
  • Feeding the homeless
  • And purchasing new clothes for high school students to wear with confidence during their first job interviews.

Sunrise Rotary has accomplished a great deal using volunteer help and with the willing participation of other local business owners.

In 1994, the Sunrise Rotary founded Operation Santa Clothes a 501( c)(3) to provide for clothing and shoes for children in local elementary schools.

During the first year, Rotarians clothed 73 children and that number multiplied about 4 times during the second year to clothe 282 children. Now the organization works with 32 elementary schools in Azusa, Charter Oak, Glendora, and Covina.

Visit the Sunrise Rotary of Covina website to see how you can help with Operation Santa Clothes or start a similar outreach in your area.
